BioPower™

BioPower™ is a micro-plate data analysis framework implementation. BioPower™ empowers the screening scientist with a low impact, sensible, desktop data reduction and analysis tool that functions in both a structured, production HTS and an experimental assay development environment. This flexible application accepts data from any plate reader and computes results for any type of assay including high content and kinetic experiments. All of the data, results, and analysis settings are saved in a reusable workspace file.

BioPower HTS is our end-user analysis tool that can use any Data Environment created with the BioPower Developer software package. BioPower HTS is free to use for the first 5 licenses per organization.

BioPower™ accommodates all types of assays and readers. The software’s flexible data architecture provides a natural structure for kinetic, high content, single and multiple end-point assay data. The configurable file translating tool directly collects any data from any plate reader. BioPower™ eliminates the need for multiple data analysis applications.

Complex Data Reduction, Analysis and Quality Control

No data reduction algorithms are too complex for BioPower™. Easy to use graphical computation components provide the ability to piece together the desired reduction procedure. Include third party reduction tools with the powerful Visual Basic .Net scripting engine. The data visualization tools enhance data analysis and provide most of the functionality of popular third party visualization tools. Leverage the reduction and analysis tools to perform real-time quality control of experimental results.

Live, Interactive Curve Fitting

Dose response curves can be computed instantly in a batch mode. For more interactive curve fitting, the curve fitting tool provides various fitting and parameter options. Outlier curve data is easily flagged and excluded from curve fitting algorithms. The original data is simultaneously updated so that the flagged status is reflected in both the source and curve data.

Data Visualization and Reporting in an Instant

The data visualization tool provides instant graphical views of the results. Reports are automatically generated and published to share results within the organization.

Extensibility With The Unified Application Environment

BioPower™ is implemented within the Unified Application Environment (UFAE). The UFAE provides the developer with the tools and framework for creating, integrating and expanding applications while isolating the end user from code, functionality, and paradigm changes. This client/server approach centralizes application development and deployment. Developers can design and build application rich software using the latest programming languages and object oriented techniques without the restrictions introduced by aging internet technologies.
